Exclamation Trouble installing Dual Boot

Vista wont let XP disk install. Gives me blue screen. Had dual boot on same system, but I messed it up and reinstalled. Downloaded Bootvis, but haven't reattempted. Anyone have a solution to Vista first dual boot install giving BSOD?

Default When does it blue screen?

During the install. The XP drivers load, then it blue screens and restarts.

Default Check all these first.

H/D jumpers are still the same.
I/O ribbons connected completely H/D and CD-ROM.
4 pin molex (power) is plugged in tight H/D and CD-ROM
H/D and CD-ROM is plugged in correct spot on the ribbon cable in sink with jumper setting.
BIOS set to boot to that drive/partition after cd boot opion.

If all these found to be good than I would say you have a hard drive going bad.
To many formats or just age will kill H/D They dont last for ever.(Try another drive if you can) or try differt PSUs if possible too. Just to make sure.

Rember to try each of these seperatly!

Good luck!
