Polk Audio miDock Portfolio - iPod Speaker Dock

There's a hot deal floating around for this iPod speaker dock from Polk. It runs on 8 "AA" batteries and is going for $30. I don't think it's any better than my Logitech MM50 ipod speakers which I bought from Hardware Cooling for $40 - minus the 40% off deal - AND I got free shipping.

My friend has the midock and it sounds like crap...then again, most ipod speaker docks suck. Did you listen to any of the PureFi's yet? They're supposed to be pretty good. I mean why spend $150-$300 on an idiot pod and then go all jew on the speakers. Don't be a jew...get the good ones!

If your looking for high performance you should check out the Logitech Pure-Fi Elite. These speakers sound so nice.
