I want to connect my laptop screen to my LCD monitor but a distance away from it how can I do it?

I wish they have wireless connection between a laptop/computer to the TV....cords are just a mess

Actually I think they do have something like that. Slingbox lets u use WiFi to transmit video from comp to TV...there are probably other similar products.
