Exclamation Help with setup

Hey, I just bought a Logitech Cordless Desktop EX110. And I have yet to set it up correctly. I followed the instructions, and still nothing.I made sure my computer was off, then I plugged in the reciever cables, next I turned on my computer....... And nothing. I also installed the cd it came with.

(I also pressed the conect buttons as it stated)

Hello,

What operating system are you running on? Did you install the drivers before you plugged in the USB receiver? Try pressing the reset button on the RF receiver and then press the RF button on the keyboard and mouse.

Did you put in a fresh set of batteries? We had some customer's not getting it to work because of weak batteries.

I tryed it on both Windows vista and xp. I restarted my computer then plugged in the reciever, then installed the driver. I have pressed all of the buttons possible.

Also whenever I plug in the reciever the lights will come on then they will go off, and almost instantly after that my computer says unknown device detected. I made sure I installed the cd completely.

Should I use my warranty or something?
